A brand’s social media effectiveness will only go as far as the owner’s trust or understanding of it.

Currently my business is on Facebook and Instagram because I am more familiar with those, therefore it was an easier option to use these, though most of my customers are on Twitter.

Most SMEs enjoy the convenience and low cost of social media. Cost to reach and serve customers is the lowest in comparison to traditional media.

Social media is instantly accessible to our customers and its convenient for us because all it takes is to post and boost from the office.

Immediate impact of social media.

Whenever I post on social media I always get the sales. Whenever I slack on doing it regularly my sale dip. These day I can actually project my sales based on how much I have or intend to post.
By posting my work on social media I have been able to get inboxes that led to work in Nigeria and the USA whilst I was here in Botswana.

SME owners want to learn.

Advertising agencies and sociaI media experts need to educate the client about social media. Because like in my case, I only know of Facebook and Instagram. But even then I am not fully conversant with all their features. So I would not put my brand on what I don’t know or am not familiar with.
